What’s The Point?

Soon as someone’s risen to fame Nothin’ matters no more, they’re on top of the game So i started askin’ questions Now look where it got me, I’m asking how i got here up in the first place If your motivation something too easy to obtain how can you refrain from overdoing it (I’m just sayin’) When you’re on top of the world there ain’t no domain you don’t own yourself and it’ll just end You’re locked in something that feels like it has no end Well guess what? It does, everything must have. A million words Cannot express How or what I feel. The questions that burn, Corrode me until I am a shell of my former self One without a shoulder to cry on, Without someone who listens, Sat alone Staring blankly at her reflection; Wondering if any of it was real.

Broken Glasses

I’ve already had my heart broken so many times, it’s as if I’m looking at her with broken glasses. My feelings fragmented, separated. Unable to form a conclusion. When I look at her, talk with her, hug her goodbye. I can see without the glasses, I can see that I love her. I dream about being with her, I dream about kissing her. One day, One day I'll tell her how I feel, Without that pair of broken glasses.
